Bandets stora mästerverk och långt bättre än allt annat dom hade gjort dessförinnan. Tycker i alla fall jag, som aldrig riktigt lyckats upptäcka mer än en fläckvis existerande storhet i bandets tidigare produktion. Men här faller alla pusselbitar på plats. Delvis baserad på de överblivna resterna av Pete Townshends havererade rockoperaprojekt "Lighthouse" har "Who's Next" något av samma tidlöshet över sig som "Abbey Road". Skivan låter fortfarande idag så helsikes modern. Och inte en svag låt är inom hörhåll någonstans. Högst upp i det blå himlasfärerna tronar "Behind Blue Eyes", "Baba O'Reilly" och "Wan't Get Fooled Again". Magiska stunder. - Anders P
