This album will totally kick your ass to pieces - Jorn Lande and Russell Allen on the same album! It sounds like a wet dream and it is - two of metal's best vocalists share the vocal duties on this absolutely amazing album composed by Swedish guitarist Magnus Karlsson. The production is flawless of course and the songs are all absolute killers, mostly following the traditional verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge/solo/end chorus formula. But when it's done this well you just have to surrender. I actually think that in particular Allen benefits from this less technical environment as he gets more space to move around than he does in his main band Symphony X. Lande really excels here as well, especially in the ballad "Reach A Little Longer". I can't think of anything negative to say about this album, even the artwork is outstanding. One of my absolute 2005 top albums (if not the top album). Get this now if you like Jorn or Symphony X or just are into well played, well written melodic heavy metal.
