Amoral: Show Your Colors

2009 sees a radical change in the vocal department of Amoral. The new singer is no growler and the clean vocals he delivers are absolutely OK, but not outstanding in any way. The songs are of course adjusted to this, being overall more accessible and not as technical and dark as on previous albums. There are still many good songs here and the workmanship and production is flawless. Still, I prefer Amoral as the technical death metal band from before and sadly have to say that this is somewhat of a letdown. - defender666
